Se sisäänrakennettu rattilukkohan on kai sellanen että jos murrat auki virtalukon että voit startata kaapeleista ni voit about pistää rattilukon kohdilleen (korjatkaa muuten jos oon väärässä :)

Touché about the vacation :D
My vacation aspect was more about going to the record store and look around, because I always have an album or three that I want, usually stuff that's available, and then I get something of that and maybe something else, and that's relaxing.
From abroad I think it's just easier to order online if the store doesn't carry it ;P
Also I always have a set of mp3s at hand for work and whatever, so I do listen to music off a computer, it's just not the preferred way when there's better equipment around :)

What's the case? I was fighting with django's settings.py overrides which would have been trivial in tcl but impossible with python, so I had to copypaste the values :(
... I really need to do something with tcl again ...

@setok how so about the difficulty?
I mean, sure, if it's a real bother to get up, walk a meter to yonder shelf to exchange a disc (or just leave a geeky but cool mess ;) as opposed to clicking something, then sure.
Still the magnitude of difficulty is microscopic, well compensated by the fact that I retrieve something tangible and beautiful that I can read the lyrics from while I chill with the Stax on...
Apropos iTMS, before that comes up, going to a record store is like a vacation but cheaper :P and iTMS etc are not mutually exclusive with CDs.
If they sold (do they?) lossless, drm-less audio, it could actually make a CD...(!)
But I agree with your opinion about Spotify wholeheartedly :)

Just that after all day of hacking, I really don't feel like doing it anymore ;)
But I'll need to see what this Spotify is really about and why it would be cool; I'll probably use it like I've used these things since 2000 or whatever and Napster and whatever, to find the bands and buy the CDs.
Tangibility I have to agree with, it's a major thing.
Another major grudge is audio quality, even if they streamed flacs made with the most professional equipment on the planet, I'd lose about 50 generations because I never bothered to augment my hifis with a good soundcard, because the computer has never been the media player of choice.
If I got audio equipment for the computer to match my cd player, I'd probably be worse off with the streams :P

I finally got in there and noticed they have instructions for Linux, though they don't really support it, which is great, but a project for another day :)
